Eve ghost sites

With the new Rubicon Eve expansion explorers will have more treasures to find. CCP introduced in the Eve universe the ghost sites. Rare exploration sites that will drop valuable loot. Here an overview what intrepid explorers may find:

Ghost sites - More fortified than previously discovered facilities, Ghost Sites harbor multiple tiers of security to keep out the uninvited. The Ghost Sites are armed to keep you out and the Empires have issued warnings for you to stay away. For the EVE pilot, that combination means only one thing - relentlessly scan them down and tear your way in.

Arriving at a Ghost Site triggers a hidden timer. Failure to hack your way in before the timer ends results in an alert going out to the site's owners, summoning a well-armed security fleet to engage you and your team.

The sites themselves consist of a series of four secure systems. Each of the systems must be hacked through and disabled successfully in order to access the items inside. Failure to hack any one of the four will trigger a security system, and the facility will do whatever is necessary to protect its contents.

Ghost Sites are rare finds, but they can be discovered across all regions of space including Empire, nullsec and wormhole space, each tier offering a different level of challenge from the others.

Unique rewards -
The pirate factions have been using these covert research facilities to develop warp-enhancing implants to aid them in their attacks. Among the treasures hidden within these heavily-guarded vaults are the blueprints and materials that you can use to manufacture them, stealing away their planned advantage and possibly making a good deal of ISK in the process.
